Why did you choose this tour?

  • I was invited as a member / employee of the us embassy

What did you enjoy most about this event?

  • The camaraderie amongst the other tour goers. I also enjoyed the pace of the tour.

  • The ice breaker allowed for good discussions to begin history was learned

  • The social interactions that took place with the international and national guests allowed for national pride to be showcased in areas that the national would not have ordinarily placed emphasis. The cultural value occurred when different parts of the culture were showcased in the food and locations chosen for this tour. The emotional value was infused into the tour when the national was made aware of the struggles that had taken place previously to allow for the nation to be in its current fashion position. Additionally, emotional attachments were made to the places visited as it was made aware to the visitor the story behind each location.

  • The knowledge gained from speaking with people at each stop was informative as well as the quiz during the bus
